Every replacement starts with an inspection and dated photos. Then the old roof comes off down to the deck, damaged decking is marked and replaced, and a complete GAF system goes on: underlayment, leak barrier at walls and valleys, starter, Timberline HDZ shingles, ridge cap and ventilation.
